Fishing Pole Xbox 360 Controller
If you would like to experience fishing and hunting right on your Xbox 360 console, then you could take a look at “The Hunt and The strike”. These are upcoming outdoor sports videogames, which are currently in development by Griffin International, XS Games and Bass Pro Shops. They will be available on Xbox 360, the Wii™, and PC by the fall of 2009. The Hunt and The strike come with interesting gameplay and cool stuff like, a fishing pole controller; rifle peripherals with high-quality that will help make the games even more interesting.
The games come in different settings. For example, The Strike puts the fishing rod in players’ hands as they head out to their favorite fishing holes,(including ten of North America’s greatest lakes).The Strike features realistic lake bottom topography, advanced graphics, life-like fish behaviors, etc to name a few.
On the other hand, The Hunt drops players into the wilderness of North America’s most famous hunting locations. The players can stalk and hunt their prey using a variety of different firearms, bolt-action rifles, shotguns, pistols, bows and knives. The game plans sound pretty interesting and the concepts have been beautifully designed in order to provide the real life experiences of fishing and hunting to the players.
Meanwhile, Griffin International is leveraging its psyclone division in order to develop The Strike and The Hunt. The software is being developed by Piranha Games Inc. As of now, the pricing information says that Peripheral + Game will be available for $69.99 and $39.99 if you buy Game alone. At the moment, there are no apparent plans made by the Company to sell the peripheral only. I am sure even people who are not in to both hunting and fishing would love these games. However, animal rights groups might have a problem with the games.
