Microsoft’s Project Scarlett Rumors Are Here
Most Xbox fans would know that Microsoft has been planning for Xbox One successor for quite sometime now. Code-named Project Scarlett, the console is going to replace Xbox One and will be quite futuristic in nature. Avid gamers will finally have something that is more advanced and fancy than the consoles that are currently available in the market. Here are some details that we already know.
What does the Project Scarlett pack in?
Project Scarlett is expected to pack in a lot of gaming power, way beyond 10.7 teraflops. It is also expected to be fully integrated with Microsoft’s xCloud service. This means, if you are fond of games that are available only in the cloud, you can play them on Project Scarlett too. Lately, gamers use Twitter and YouTube to livestream their gaming to people all over the world.
With this in mind, Microsoft is going to take live-streaming very seriously. The console will come with executive releases such as a brand new Halo title, and a Forza game as well. Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls title is yet another game that we can expect specifically for Project Scarlett.
When is it going to be available?
We all know that Xbox One was priced $500 when it was first launched. Thus, we can assume that Project Scarlett is going to cost a lot more than that. It will not be available until December 2020. If rumors are to be believed, Project Scarlett will be available by next Christmas. So, if you are planning ahead for a Christmas gift for yourself or for someone you love, Project Scarlett will just be perfect.
